Every so often we have last minute company and I find myself scrambling to put a few snacks together. I found having some simple ingredients on hand will help us avoid a quick run to the grocery store. These three simple snacks can be thrown together at a moments notice and look great. Here are the ingredients to have on hand to make these quick snacks.
Cheese and Cracker Platter
Gorgonzola cheese
English cheddar cheese
Brie cheese
Jam (I like rasberry or apricot best)
Honey
Crackers (Multigrain Crackers & Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuts)
Nuts and Dried Berries
Almonds
Pistachios
Peanuts
Dried Cranberries
Pretzels and Mustard
Pretzels
Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
Grey Poupon Country Dijon Mustard
These simple snacks look great on serving dishes and only takes a few minutes to set out. What are you go to last minute snacks?

You're snacks are a great idea. I have a hard time keeping cheese in the house since I'd eat it. For my go to snacks, I keep jarred bruschetta, artichokes, and olives. Those imported treats go great with packaged crostini - that's the Italian in me. You also can't go wrong with chips and salad. In fact, I busted that out tonight for my brother's birthday dinner.
ReplyDeleteI apologize for the typos. I'm in the car on my iPhone. Hopefully you can interpret my autocorrected comment. I just loved your post and photos so much, I couldn't wait to say something. And don't worry, Kevin is driving :)
DeleteI couldn't resist writing one more comment. I am looking at your post again Sunday morning in my PJs waiting for my coffee to brew...and I really want some of that cheese. That display look so good. I really wish I could have some right now for breakfast (my fridge is empty). Especially the raspberry jam with some Brie. xoxo
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I like putting out grey poupon with pretzels, it probably makes a yummy combination.
