Oh what a week! I have been spending my evenings after work gardening and trying to improve the curb appeal of our home. The prior owners must have been avid gardeners because perennials have popped up everywhere and need to be tamed. The picture above is a sneak peak of all the landscaping underway. I have been doing some research to discover what aspects of a lovely front porch appeal to me, and I realize I love symmetry, the contrast of black and white, and statement light fixtures. If I had a million dollars, my front porch would look like one of these below…but in the meantime, I will just work with what I’ve got. Well – maybe I will add a wreath to my front door or a colorful welcome mat. What do you think?
